Frequently asked question:

How do you say Jennaya's name?

Answer:  That's  Jen- NAY- Yah.

It's a Hebrew-related, Israeli name

and means "God will answer"

or "God replies."

Here's the story behind her name.  When we were engaged and were talking about baby names, we looked away from one another for just a moment, thinking, and when we turned to face each other, the name came to us simultaneously, and I mean at the exact same moment.  James said Jen-NAY-yah, and I said Jen-NAH-yah.

We were so amazed at thinking the same name at exactly the same moment, when we had never heard the name before in our lives.  We felt that it must be from the Lord.  It wasn't until over a decade later that we found out that it is an Israeli name and discovered its Hebrew meaning.
