In our home school, we have had a lot of fun trying different ideas and techniques in creating hand-made cards.

Here are some photos of some of the cards we have featured in Roses for Christian Girls magazine.  These are only some of the cards we have featured.  All of our cards are our own creations and ideas.

Our purpose in sharing these cards is to inspire girls to encourage others through the art of card-making, and to give them ideas that should work for anyone, even without a lot of art talent.

We've really had fun with trying different techniques and using a wide range of materials for our card-making.  These cards can be used for birthdays, get-well cards, thinking-of-you type cards, or any other encouragement purpose.  We urge you to try some of these ideas and feel free to be creative.

In this card we combined flower pictures from seed catalogs with tiny butterfly stickers.  The corners of this card can be cut with ordinary scissors.

Click on any card below to see close-up photos of that card, along with comments.  Full instructions for each card are provided in the back issues mentioned.

These photos are copyrighted, not to be sold or republished.  But you can use the ideas at home, and download any craft patterns we provide on this web site for your personal use or to share with a friend.  All rights reserved.
